PUNO - ISLA AMANTANI
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Transfer from the Hotel to the port to undertake our launch to motor, and to visit the floating islands of the Uros, that takes 30 min approx. After a brief visit (40 min aprox), we continue the trip toward the natural island of Amantani, just like in Taquile, the settlers are dedicated to the agriculture, craft and fishes chiefly. The locals continue living on agreement to their old traditions and Inca laws with demonstrations of local customs and manners, folk, religious rituals as: The marriage (sirvinacuy), the payment to the land (Mother Earth)
Typical lunch
Accommodation. We will spend the night at home of the families. Amantani does not have hotels, therefore the services are basic. Visit to archaeological places and ceremonial centers of the pre-Inca culture. First we will appreciate the two ceremonial centers PACHATA AND PACHAMAMA (Mother Earth), located in the top of the hills.
