National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History of Peru
It presented in a large house Virreinal, old place of residence of Virreyes and Liberators, is considered the museum by excellence of Peru.
Here the famous monuments of stone of the formative period are conserved 1000 B.C. the "Estela Raimondi" and the "Obelisk Tello".
It presents the most important textile collection, showing tissues ranging from pre-ceramic era to the Inca.
Displays also an important collection of Ancient Peru metals.
It emphasizes its new hall "Tawantinsuyo" which summarizes the 100 years of the Inca Empire, illustrated with models and virtual recreations.
