CLIMATE
In Peru 28 types of climates exist. Nevertheless, to have a general vision of the weather conditions of the country, we will divide their territory in three regions of study: coast, saw and forest. The climatic characteristics in each one of these regions are:
In the Coast, two stations are identified clearly: summer and winter. The first one goes from December to March, with temperatures that average the 27° centigrade. The winter (from June to September) is characterized for its days cold, humid and light drizzles.
In the Highland, with two stations very marked: drought and the season of rains. The dry epoch (May to October) is characterized for its sunny days, its very cold nights and its rarely rains, being the best season to visit the zone. In the rainy station (December to March), the haste are constant and unpredictable. Another private characteristic of the highland, is the strong variation of temperatures in a same day, the same that can fluctuate among the 2° centigrade to the 20° centigrade.
• In the Amazon, is characterized for a tropical and humid climate, what explains its abundant vegetation and valuable biodiversity. In the summer (from May to October) the days are intensely sunny and the temperatures surpass the 30° centigrade. The epoch of rains (November to March) is marked by the strong haste (several hours can last) and the consequent one grown of the rivers.
TELEPHONE AND INTERNET
In recent years the telephone cover (fixed and cell) has been expanded and modernized in Peru. It suffices with placing currencies or to include a card prepayment, to carry out national and international calls since any phone booth. The basic cost of a local call since a pay phone is of 50 hundredth (to fixed) and of a sun (to cell); for the national calls one must place a sun (to fixed) and two suns (to cell), as a minimum.
A very popular and economic alternative to be communicated with the outside is the Internet. In Peru numerous cabins exist or cyber coffees (inclusive in far away and small towns), that offer the service of calls to the outside and the access to the web. The cost by an hour of Internet oscillates, generally, between one and three new suns.
