Folklore IN PERU - Peruvian dance

As opposed to other countries, Peru does not live on its memories. In Peru, the tradicción and inheritance they are told, they are sung in square and towns. It tests of it is the existence of more than three thousand festivals in which Peruvian of the Andes, the Coast and the Forest give free rein to the originality and creativity to communicate happinesses and sadnesses dressed as marvelous adorn and a paraphernalia that converts each one of the celebrations in an unique moment that no visitor forgets.

Peru is a country that is defined by the crossbreeding of all bloods (indigenous, African, Asian and European). Not for nothing, the Peruvian folk art is one of the main tourist attractions. Today there are at least 1500 musical genres, whose interpretation needs of native instruments such as the quena, zampoña or drawer. Peru has one of the most diverse world of music: Andean, Amazon and Coastal.

As their dances are world renowned from northern sailor top, dances cuzqueñas, huayno from centre, dances of the jungle, the coastal Waltz, the Afro-Peruvian and more than 300 varieties of dances from PUNO capital of floklórica Americas.

Sailor
The Sailor top is a dance devoted to courtship and love the game. It dances throughout Peru. In some regions has acquired forms themselves, thus creating three main aspects: The Northern, The Limeña and La Serrana.

The Freedom Club is responsible for organizing annually in the city of Trujillo famous National Competition for Sailor.

   

Tondero
Dance partner of manners that probably originated in the North Coast of Peru Saña district of Lambayeque. The Tondero represents the persecution of the rooster in the hen. For its apparel women using a nightgown called Anaco that stands out as a blouse on the wide skirt attached to the waist. They are also very showy the famous "sleeper" outstanding artistic (earrings) worked in filigrama, goldsmiths work of the people. The male uses thin straw hat, striped shirt or white, northern belt and white or black pants.

   

Festejo
The feast is a sensual dance of rhythm and cadence cheerful, can challenge or competition between the dancers.
It´s letter was created to tell the customs, joys, sorrows and sufferings of the black race. It was created by black people sorrounding Lima during the seventeenth century. Originally only used percurssion as the box made of wood on which sits the musician and run the typical rate using their fingers and palms of their hands.

   

Alcatraz
The Alcatraz is one of the most typical dances that predominate in the Peruvian coast, the plasma current form in the early twentieth century from African rhythms brought to Peru by black slaves.
Its tradition has survived and has been enriched with miscegenation. We danced in couples with a paper tied in the back of the waist. The dancers play with a candle lit trying to turn the paper. Used agile movements waist alluding amorous encounters, counterpoint and improvisation.

   

Huaylash Carnival
Dance representative of the center, is the popular dance of the southern region of Huancayo, Junin department. It is executed during the carnivals and in almost all the local holidays.
It is affirmed that initially was performed in certain phases of the cultivation of potato, and that during the the movements of the agricultural tasks were imitated. Also, is a motive of courtship between couples, according to the traditional dance culture Huanca

   

Carnival Canas
It is a dance cuzqueño of Espinar province, south of Cuzco.
This dance comes from the area of "Bravos Canas" and is characterized by being very festive and picaresque.
The dance, runs on couples who used to be displayed and use the double meaning to conquer her partner and thereby resolve the eternal dilemma of love.

   

Huayno
The Huayno is the most popular musical expression in the region from the mountains of Peru, was born in the Inca Empire and survives the Spanish colonization and maintains its popularity today.
The Huayno is a festive and joyous dance with very colorful clothing made of wool woven and embroidered flame. The Huayno, being popular is a dance collective unlike others, reserved for special ceremonies for the Incas.

   

The Polca
Dance of European origin. It is practiced in Lima and across the coast, having been cultivated by many composers Creole among them Pedro Espinel. But the polka lapses in its practice and now this genre is related to sport, so much so that almost all teams have football anthem as a polka. It arrived to Peru in the nineteenth century from Europe. The polka was danced in the halls of dominant social classes (Peru), but as is well known throughout the dance that reaches America the polka escapes from these halls, itself "adapts" and acquires new vigor and musical pulse, being returned thus in important member of the popular dances.

   

The Zamacueca

This is a dance popular in the Andean area.

The name of the zamacueca, derives from the union of "Zaman" (which at times had a pre-Hispanic religious significance, labor, civic and funeral, indicating 'rest'.
And "cueca" had the meaning of 'grave' or 'place of rest'.

   

The Waltz

While there are different forms depending on the area, the most widespread is the Creole waltz, the coastal zone. Its origins in Peru, are set in the late nineteenth century, when the Viennese waltz was imposed in cities. It was danced by couples partly embraced.

In the traditional Peruvian waltz, acoustic guitars were used for musical accompaniment.

   
The Dance of the Scissors
This dance is danced in the areas of the mountains, in Ayacucho, Apurimac, Huancavelica. The dancers or "danzak" are two contenders, in a duel, which seems outrageous to be defeated. They are accompanied by two musicians, one play the violin and another harp. The danzak performs all sorts of acrobatics, and accompanies these movements with their hands and scissors. The danzak have great appreciation for the scissors, that accompany it until his death, as received from the hands of Uquis or spirits of the hills, according to their own beliefs. At the same time, the forging of the scissors are subjected to a series of ceremonies to give them a good sound.
   
The Diablada

The diablada or Sicuris is danced to the sound of Huayno, with music by sicus or zampoñas, drum, bass drum, cymbal and triangle.
The dance was personifies devils, skeletons, bats, or old Chinese devil.
